The House of my Parents
Personal project

An installation depicting the atmosphere of the house I grew up in.
Composed of 15 pictures of furniture, utensils and other domestic objects, combined with two life size portraits of my parents.
Because the photographs were presented in a fairly tight housing, it was impossible to escape the unwavering gaze of my parents, nor could you touch any of the pictured objects –they were shielded by 10 mm thick glass plates.
It is both a personal work as well as an image of the seventies.
